Oct 14, 2013 – 1:30p @ St Louis Airport

sitting here waiting to board my first flight, STL to Chicago. Praying my luggage makes it with me the whole journey!

I feel so inadequate right now. Going on a trip to minister to pastors and leaders in a foreign country, knowing they’re desperate for a word from God. But I feel empty.

Maybe this is where I need to be for God to use me. Hoping it’s that, and not that I’ve strayed from His presence. I know, one can’t go anywhere and be away from God, but we can get so wrapped up in things that we don’t hear His Spirit speaking to us.

I got so involved with getting ready for this trip, I didn’t spend hardly anytime praying and fasting like I should have. I want Him to use me on this trip but I feel like I dropped the ball spiritually.

He’ll probably surprise me and do amazing things. He always does.

Oct 16 – 12am Dakar hotel

Luggage made it ok!  Praise God!

Busy couple days.  A lot of flying and waiting in lines.  Visa #1 went well, 2 more to go!

Shared my testimony today at a church in Dakar.  Went well, I did the real short version.  I’m probably going to be asked to do a sermon in the next couple days.  I’m so uninspired.  Gotta spend some time studying.

On that note, and the fact that I have to up in 6 hours, I’ll talk to you all soon!  Good night 🙂
