Here I am, second day into my mission trip to Costa Rica! Beautiful country, nicest people too, but a little warmer/humid than I’d hoped. Fans are awesome things and so are cool showers!
We left STL around 4:30 on Friday, flew to DEN. We were blessed to have dinner with the team from there and then Rebecca and I took an overnight flight to San Jose, CR. We arrived around 6am, met up with one of guys were staying with and his friend, who was gracious enough to let us take a quick nap before catching a bus to Quepos. We arrived, ate, got settled, went to church, went to dinner (glorious food!), came home and crashed.
Today, so far, we went to church and did Sunday School with a bunch of beautiful children. We just had lunch and now having some downtime. Tonight we’ll go to 2 more services.
There’s a team from Hawaii here, and they are really cool people, and we’ve met a girl who moved here to work with Seeds of Hope (more on that in a later post). I love the variety of people I get to meet on mission trips. Not just the natives, but all the people God puts to together from all over.
I hope to keep up with updates regularly, depending on our schedule!
I pray that God will continue to bless you for your loving kindness!
