Got an alarm installed in my house last night, finally. I have it set to email me if there’s a problem, so now every time my phone alerts me that I have a new email, I’m a little jumpy! It’s a pretty cool system, I can operate it from my phone, online, from a key fob or the panel in my house. So, in theory, if I have internet access in Africa I can arm or disarm my house from thousands of miles away.
Speaking of Africa, my support letters are on their way out. Got most of the distributed last week, just got a few more to go. Already have donations coming in 🙂
So, I’m trying this whole weight loss thing again. I kinda say that everyday. One day, one choice at a time, right?
Don’t remember if I told you all that I’m in the process of getting licensed as a minister… but I am. The interview, the final step I believe, is August 15. Between now and then I gotta study up on the doctrine and polity of The International Church of the Foursquare Gospel. That’s a fair amount of stuff! They interview by asking questions about that stuff and personal testimony type stuff. Not too hard, just a little overwhelming right now.
Best get to studying! Well actually back to work, but then to studying! 🙂
