Been awhile since I posted, I know. Thought I’d take a few moments and update on some things.
Weight loss: been told I look like I’m losing weight 🙂 but the scale isn’t moving 😦 maybe just water weight, I’ve eaten out a lot lately. I should take measurements.
Mission Trip: still on for Oct 14th! I’ve actually raised enough to buy my plane tickets!!! Will be doing that next week 🙂 Yay! also received a tentative itinerary last week, so exciting!!
Yard sale: had one Saturday, went really well except the sunburn. Actually had a lady return a computer she bought. The story is she bought the monitor, tower, keyboard, mouse, speakers and printer for $20. As far as I know, it all still worked, and I told her as such. Anyway, a couple of hours after the yard sale ended, I get a knock at the door. I don’t answer my door to strangers, so I just let it go. I looked out side and the woman was putting the computer set back on my front porch! It’s still there. I kinda hope someone just takes it. I’m expecting this woman to show up at my door again looking for her money. I don’t want a big fight, but I really don’t think she should get a refund, it was a yard sale, you take your chances! Ugh, we’ll see what happens.
Licensing: think I mentioned it before, but the interview part of the ministerial licensing process is set for August 14th. Study, study, study!!
My house: I was thinking of selling and getting a condo. But is looks like I’m upside down on my mortgage (like most of America) so that won’t be happening for a few years. I think the break in got to me more that I first thought. Oh well.
Grandma: we moved my grandma from independent living to assisted over the pass week or so. She had a lot of stuff she couldn’t take with her, so to the yard sale most of it went. Kinda sad to see a lot of it go, but we kept some of the more sentimental stuff. It’s not like she died, but it was still a kinda sad process.
