Oct 18 – 10p – Hotel in Bissau
Yesterday was amazing. We got to witness 40 – 50 baptisms and pray for the new believers. God spoke through me to a couple of them. Then we went to the church where we were praying for the young man to be healed. God gave me a word of knowledge for him! I think that was the first time that has ever happened. So cool
We started the conference yesterday too. These people are amazing. They are so hungry for God to move. The conference is a pretty big deal too, was announced on the radio and is the annual? gathering of the Evangelical Alliance of Churches. That means many denominations/churches meet together for a conference. So cool to see the unity.
Today was even more amazing. We met with the Deputy Minister to the President (or some title like that) of Guinea-Bissau. That means something like really high up in command of the nation. We were able to pray with him for the nation. Guinea-Bissau is the 3rd poorest country in the world and has more political upheaval than almost every other nation. These people are needy. Physically and spiritually.
I was able to preach this evening too. I shared my testimony and about the life of Joseph. Basically, Joseph faced many hard things in life but glorified God through all of it. Because of him, his family was blessed and even though his brothers meant him harm, God used it all for good.
Well, tomorrow is a travel day after the conference. I need to repack and rest up. Good night!
Awesome – Thanks for sharing..
