So, I faced one of my fears and I did ask ‘the guy’ out. He didn’t exactly say ‘yes’ but gave me his number. So now the ball is back in my court. Wait, how did that happen??? Anyway, just wanted to clear that up for you all who follow and caught the cryptic message last week.
Besides that, I got a new car! Well, new to me and almost new. Only has 6k miles and is a 2011. Susuki sx4. Bigger than my last car, which was a 2-door with a small back seat. This new one is a 4-door hatchback. Got a really good deal on it too 🙂
Ready for Christmas? Me neither. I feel more in the Spirit this year than I have in a while though. Been watching Christmas movies on Netflix, I think it’s helping. Good thing I know Christmas isn’t about the presents, because now I have a car payment (first in 6 1/2 years). My dad was kind enough to let me borrow money for the down payment so we could get the monthly payment within my price range. Now I owe my parents money too. Time to tighten the budget! Ouch!
Hope you had a Happy Thanksgiving! I spent Thanksgiving Day at my grandma’s retirement center and we did another dinner at my mom & dad’s on Saturday. A lot of food but I think I did OK. Didn’t gain any weight anyway!
