Lord, make me a woman of prayer.  My soul longs for intimacy with You and You alone.  Help me to lay down the things which hinder.  Help me to be faithful.  I long for a deeper walk with You.  You are calling me into deep waters and I’m afraid I can’t swim.  Yet You will catch me.  You will carry me.

Thank you for the people You’ve put in my life.  I want to touch each of their lives for You.

I lay down my desires.  Give me a heart after You.  Show me Your face.  Open my eyes to see You smiling on me.

Open Your Word to me.  Make me thirsty for it.  Let nothing else satisfy.

I risk my reputation for You.  May I only strive to please You and not the people of this world.

Let me rest in Your presence.
