That’s how many years I’ve been saved! Easter of 1999 (April 4th) was the day I let Jesus be Lord of my life. A lot has happened in these 15 years, none of which I could have gotten though without Him!
On that note, as we approach Easter this weekend, take time to reflect on your walk with the Lord. The Resurrection (and Spring) are a time of re-birth. If you haven’t made him Lord of your life, I pray you’ll think about. Ask Him to reveal Himself to you.
So, praise God! My toe is completely healed! My doctor calls it ‘the miracle toe’! I had something like 30 warts on my left-big toe and after only 2 acid treatments, they’re all gone! With no surgery needed!
Now I should get back to 5k training. I’ve got one coming up next Saturday, the 26th, The Color Run. Read about it here.
We finished the Lose to Win challenge this weekend. It was a 12 week program/competition were contestants weighed in every week and won prizes. The top woman lost about 22% of her body weight. That’s amazing. I won a raffle 🙂 My results? I maintained. Exact same weight I started at, I ended at. I gained in the middle and came back down. Guess that’s good overall, right?
Now to get that # to come down.
Kinda on that subject, I had a good talk with a friend about beauty. I plan to post about the conversation soon, but here’s the point: if God says I’m beautiful, who am I to argue with God? Good stuff, will go deeper into it after I get some Scriptures to back it all up.
I’ve been starting a bunch of books lately, hope to finish some soon and talk about them. Mostly all about leadership, church, and Christian life, good stuff. I need to make time for some good fiction too soon though!
