My Review
No, I’m not reviewing The Bible! I’m reviewing this format, which I liked. NIV (New International Version) isn’t my translation of choice, I usually stick to NLT (New Living Translation) or NASB (New American Standard Bible), but I wanted to read this one because of the Leadership insights. It would make a great gift for any aspiring leaders you may know, by the way! Especially since the new year is about to start, and a lot of people attempt to read through the Bible in a year. Which I’ll be doing with this version in 2015. Some who attempt to read the Bible through get ‘stuck’ and give up when they hit the books of the Law, but when you take small chunks at a time, and mix it with some New Testament and a Psalm or Proverb, it’s a little easier to digest 🙂 The insights are inspiring and come from well known and respected leaders and the breakdown of the scriptures is easy to read in a day. I highly recommend this version of the Bible.
