End of 2014

Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas!

Hard to believe we’re already at the end of the year!  2014 flew by for me, didn’t it for you? I was looking at my post earlier this year, Beginning of 2014, and was thinking how many of my goals I actually accomplished.  Kinda disappointed. But let’s look at what I DID accomplish!

• I read through the Bible!  Only took me a little over 4 months too 🙂
• I went on an actual vacation!  I went with a few other girl friends to Marco Island, FL and had a wonderful time!
• I took more art classes!  Even taught one of these to another group 🙂
• I went out of my comfort zone and joined a group of Jesus followers, who I had never met!  I mean, I know Jesus, not these particular people though.  So far, they seem like awesome people, can’t wait to work with more this coming year.
• I started back at college!  This one is huge!  It’s part of the reason I didn’t meet some of my other goals (number of books read for example). 
• And I finished my first semester with a 3.81 GPA! 

There’s been other things that have happened this year that were pretty cool too.  Like, my brother getting engaged, friends who had babies, paying off some debt, etc…

So, what’s up for 2015?  Only God knows!  But here are some of my ideas:

• Maintain a GPA at or above 3.5.
• Work out 3-5 times a week (I’m joining a gym, already bought the Living Social deal!!)
• Pay off more debt.
• Read through the Bible again.
• Read more books (not to interfere with school, of course!)  I’m thinking 12 total, fiction and non-fiction combined.
  
• Go on a mission trip to Asia!!! 

2015 looks to be a busy year!  My brother will get married in March, and a cousin will get married in June too.

I’m not making a long list of goals like I did last year, especially with weight loss.  I just want to get in better shape, but setting big goals for myself hasn’t worked.  I might revisit this later, but so far it’s just been an area of disappointment and stress.

Anyway, those are my goals/ideas for the coming year.  What do you have in mind for 2015??
