Can’t believe it has been so long since I’ve written here. Things are going well, if not crazy busy.

First, still in love with Mike 🙂 Hard to believe I’ve only known him 2 months, I feel like I’ve known him my whole life or something. It sometimes feels too good to be true, I’ve found the one I want to spend the rest of my life with. I’ve heard of couples meeting and just knowing they were meant to be together and I thought it was a bunch of rubbish, but now I’ll gladly eat my words. So it’s not official or anything, yet, but we are looking at possibly next fall to get married.

Looks like I’ll have to attempt to sell my house in about a year and a half.  Not looking forward to that task. Can’t wait to marry and live with Mike (in that order BTW), but not only will I miss the place I’ve lived in for over 11 years, I don’t live in the best neighborhood and selling it is going to be really difficult.  Pending a miracle, I’ll have to do a short sale and take the hit on my credit for a few years. Gotta do what ya gotta do though.  The public transportation and side walks in North County aren’t very good, so I’ll be moving to South City. From what I’ve seen so far, I really like it down there.

So school… I’ve made a big decision: I’m going to take a break for a while. I just have too much on my plate and cannot justify the stress and debt of going to school right now. I’ll miss the classes, and I’m not saying I won’t pick this goal back up, I’m just saying that I need a break. With everything I’ve got going on, and soon to be going on, something had to give. It’s not like I need the degree right away or anything, I was just doing it because I wanted to.

My brother’s wedding went well. There was a lot of work that went into it, but it was beautiful and fun. The Matron of Honor forgot the ring, which was surprising considering how super organized she is. It was really funny though, no one got mad or anything.  It was in the car, so after a short intermission the show went on as planned. The food and cake were good too. I didn’t take my camera, but will share the pictures from the photographer when they are available.

Well, I’ve got finals and other homework to work on.  Talk to y’all again soon(ish).
