Not much to report about the last day there. We took off at 1a or so to get to the airport. 5 hour flight to Denver, 5 hour layover (thanks to my aunt for meeting us for lunch), 2 hour flight to St Louis. Got to STL around 8p, home after 9p. I was so tired by then.
It was a wonderful trip. I learned a lot about how little my day-to-day life can become. There are so many people in this world, each with their own story to tell and problems that only God can help them fix.
It’s alway bittersweet for me to come home from a trip. Maybe it’s just the missionary in me, but I love being new places and sometimes being home seems overrated.
My feet and ankles are still a little swollen, so is my tongue, so now I’m trying to flush all the salt out of my body from all the food we ate. This is a good problem in my book, easy to fix.
Will post pics soon, after my supporters’ thank-you party on Aug 3rd.
Well, I might give you all a sneak peek before then, we’ll see!
