Miracles

Africa already seems like it was a different life.  Was I really there just a couple days ago?  Or was it all a dream?

I’ve got pictures and blog entries to prove I was there.  But it seems like it was an out-of-body experience.  Hard to explain.

I thank God for all the miracles and blessing on the trip.  Let’s recap a few, shall we? 

Favor at all the border crossings.  Not only did they never ask to see any proof of Yellow Fever vaccinations, they let us through without international insurance on one of the vehicles.  The people with us, drivers and pastors and such, who travel that way often couldn’t believe the favor we received.

We prayed for people who were healed.  Some started to be healed and some saw complete healing.  Like the young man who came forward in a chair but walked away (with help).  God even gave me a prophetic word for him.  Or the lady who was paralyzed on one side but  started to feel better.  The child who had a bad shoulder who was completely healed.

There were many amazing people we met along the way.  Testimony of being shot at but surviving from one of the pastors and missionaries from all over helping out in strange lands. 

The fact that one of the churches had been fasting and praying 24-hours a day for a month for our visit.  They just knew we were bringing God’s Word to a starving land.  They all welcomed us with open arms and open hearts. 

The holy moment of meeting with the 3rd in command of Guinea-Bissau and him letting us pray for him.  That nation is on the brink of something huge.  It’s the 3rd poorest and has the most political instability in the world. 

Gambia’s harvest is white and ready for workers.

Senegal is mostly Muslim, but with some amazing missionaries working there.

The trip was amazing.  I can’t wait to go back to some of the parts we went to.  Definitely life changing.
