I’ve decided to go back to school!
A little overwhelmed at the work ahead of me, but I know it’ll be well worth it in the end.
Already applied for enrollment and submitted my FAFSA.
I’m looking at attending Liberty University – Online. Working towards a Bachelor of Science in Religion — Biblical and Theological Studies.
See, I already went to school and earned a BA in Biblical Studies, but it was an unaccredited college, and I never received a diploma, or transcripts. I was a really bitter about that for a long time. But I’ve had to let it go and chalk it up to a really good, albeit expensive, Bible study season of my life.
Anyway, let’s not get into that whole mess! Let’s look forward!
I should be able to qualify for some life-experience credits, given that I already earned this degree and know a lot of the material, plus I am a licensed minister. Anything I don’t earn that way shouldn’t be too difficult to pass. Not that I expect this to be a walk in the park or anything!
I don’t feel like I’m doing this just for the piece of paper that says I’m ‘smart’ or am qualified for anything. I enjoy structured learning. I know, I must be crazy, right?!?! It could also help with missions at some point too.
They have a Master’s degree program online too, might have to consider that in 4 years or so 🙂 But I’m getting ahead of myself…
So, that’s my next big adventure!
