A few things to catch you all up on!
Things with Mike are going great! We’re officially boyfriend/girlfriend and have said ‘I love you’ to each other 🙂 I know what some of you are thinking, but no, it’s not too soon. I really do love him and cannot imagine my life without him. He says he feels the same way about me. He makes me so happy. He met my brother and soon-to-be sister-in-law this past weekend and I think it went well. You could tell everyone was a little nervous, but they seem to approve of him. He gets to meet the rest of my family at the wedding in a month, eek! I’m visiting his church this coming weekend to meet some of his friends and he’ll visit mine in a few weeks.
So this weekend we cleaned my house. He has a thing for vacuum cleaners and wanted to use a pretty powerful one at my place (don’t laugh, everyone has a thing). Not that my house was all that dirty or anything!! We almost lost my tablecloth at one point, but were able to save it. That’s the craziest thing that happened this weekend, which was OK considering the mishaps of the past 2 weekends!
The MS relapse I had a couple of months ago seems to have gone away. My optic nerve is back to normal. Now the spasticity has gotten worse though. It got so bad yesterday I almost couldn’t type. I thought maybe I was just dehydrated, but more water hasn’t seemed to help. I have a message into my doctor, hopefully he can give me advice and not just another pill. I’m getting a massage tonight, hopefully it’ll help.
School – I received a letter from the Honor Society yesterday! I’m officially invited to join them! This means a lot to me, I hope to graduate with honors. Just gotta focus a little more on studying though, I’ve slipped a little in one class 😦 Can’t blame Mike, I was behind in this class before I even met him. Doing well in the other 2 classes though. Should still have a pretty good GPA at the end of this semester.
