We had another night of firsts. Well, one first. Mike had never danced with anyone before and we danced at my cousin’s wedding Saturday. He even requested a song for me (below), how sweet.
The wedding was pretty and my cousin was beautiful. Hard to believe the little girl I once baby-sat is now a married woman. Make me proud… and feeling a little old!
Alright… time for a new challenge in my life (yep, I’m a glutton for punishment)! I’m selling my house. I’ve lived here for almost 12 years. I will miss it like crazy, but it’s time. The plan is to sell, get an apartment for a year or so, then get married. That’s my plan at least. Unfortunately I’m upside down on the mortgage and will end up losing money, but it is what it is.
No wedding date set, no ring bought. Don’t worry, you didn’t miss anything 🙂
My mom is doing very well considering what she’s been through. She sounds so much better too. So proud of her for stopping smoking. I know it can’t be easy, but it was so necessary.
Yeah, that’s about it at the moment. Time for sleep!
