Had to walk the entire thing, at a much slower pace than I’d hoped, but I finished!
Really glad it wasn’t a timed race.
And I am so paying for the lack of training now, ouch!
Here’s some pics of the crowd. The run started 90 minutes late because of a car accident along the route. I was sore from standing on concrete, even before the run began!
There were 7 of us to start with. 4 of which decided to run, 2 stayed behind with me.
And here we are at the finish line! It was a lot of fun and I’m glad we all did it together.
We’re already making plans to do this again next year! Hopefully with even more friends.
But the next 5k I’ll be sure to train for!!
